Saint Peter the Apostle School

Our Mission

Following along our sacred journey with Saint John Neumann, and Mother Caroline Friess, SSND together we will encourage each other as a multicultural faith community to grow academically, spiritually, and emotionally with Christian values.

The positive energy we will provide will create a harmonious and respectful atmosphere that will contribute to the building up of God's kingdom here on earth.

Our History

Founded by the School Sisters of Notre Dame in 1848, St. Peter the Apostle School has a long history of educating children in the Northern Liberties and Fishtown area.

At our Catholic school, students are given individual attention by a dedicated faculty. While our students come from many diverse backgrounds, at St. Peter the Apostle they are welcomed into a close-knit community that encourages a love of learning.

Our students go on to attend area high schools, including: Roman Catholic High School, West Catholic Preparatory High School, Mercy Career and Technical High School, Little Flower Catholic Girls' High School, Neumann-Goretti High School and Saint Joseph Preparatory School.
